It’s simple, just take the complexity out of the complex.
--------------

Some feel they are always at the mercy of circumstance
and forget that even small actions of their own can alter the world around them.
--------------
The key to our existence is chaos;
and spending an entire lifetime believing we can control it.
--------------
As a child, a major inspiration came from viewing astronomical photographs.
All of us contained on a tiny speck in the giant universe.
At first it felt magical and wonderful
but now it’s saddening to see how petty human life can be on earth;
people drawing lines in the sand, surrounded by their own dramatic illusions.
Our existence is so incredibly short and fragile for the ego to waste.
--------------
A culture’s state of being is reflected in the art it produces, or lack there of.
--------------
The more you observe, the more you perceive.
You will understand and execute informed actions.
Often times the people who talk the most can’t perceive anything but themselves.
Words can be catalysts but are empty.
--------------
Doubt is the strongest weapon;
it can cripple an opponent by shaking their confidence
and when turned inward in can crumble the foundation of your actions.
Only those who gamble big and have the intel will conquer it.

I have supported various charities in the past and several dedicated to fighting cancer. My father died from cancer when I was 13 and during my childhood I saw the chaos that cancer can cause on a person and their family, and now I have a stepfather who is currently battling cancer as well.
It isn’t something mysterious that happens to a few unlucky people. Chances are most of us will be affected by it in some way during our lifetime.
My family has supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I’ve decided to help them out. Here is the official website of the organization: http://www.lightthenight.org. Unfortunately I won’t be in Seattle to participate in the walk with them, but I am helping to raise donations.
Honestly any amount of donation to the cause would help. Here is my page on the organization website for donations.
But, anyone who donates $50 or more through the link provided will recieve a mini print as seen in the Mini Print album on my facebook page and below. The print is a hardcover folder featuring an original pen sketch inside over the print itself. Drawings will vary from each piece. The print measures 4” x 5” (10.1 cm x 12.7 cm) when closed. In order to recieve the print after donating, don’t forget to send a message via my facebook page or email me (mail@ericclu.com) with your information so the prints can be produced and sent out.
100% of the donations will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The deadline for all donations is September 24, 2011.
